Childhood Interventions

Childhood Interventions is a Pensacola, Florida-based practice focused on helping young children develop and supporting the families and providers around them. Founded and led by Kimberlee Spencer, PhD, the organization draws on her more than 20 years of experience in child development and early childhood education, including leadership roles in early intervention and child and youth programs.

The practice offers individualized early intervention for children under age three, with sessions available at home, in childcare settings, or in its sensory gym. Families can also access developmental classes and programs, including social skills groups, school-readiness activities, Baby Signs, and Music & Movement. Sensory gym open play and on-the-go learning are among the opportunities highlighted for children and families.

Childhood Interventions also provides documentation and provider tools designed to streamline paperwork, session notes, and evaluations, helping professionals focus more on direct care. Its approach emphasizes play, connection, and practical partnership with families. The practice accepts Florida’s Step Up for Students FES-UA scholarship.
