@childlanguagespecialist.org
The American Board of Child Language and Language Disorders (ABCLLD) is a nonprofit Board recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since 2000 as having oversight of Specialty Certification in the area of child language. Board Members are speech-language pathologists who volunteer their time to oversee policies, procedures, and the Board Certification program. The ABCLLD is the only entity that can provide Board Certification of professionals who demonstrate excellence in their knowledge, skills, experience, and leadership in child language. Our five-year goals are to increase and improve our outreach to the public so families and Specialists can connect. We will continue to provide other benefits for Specialists, including advanced-level continuing education courses.
