Welcome to Children's Aquarium Dallas at Fair Park! With over a thousand 5-star reviews, our historic aquarium has been reimagined for the future, offering a unique and interactive experience for the whole family. Established in 1936, we have been delighting generations of Texas families and visitors with our incredible exhibits. Located on the grounds of Fair Park, our aquarium now focuses on high-tech, high-touch, and hands-on activities, perfect for the creative kids of today.

As you enter, you'll notice the Children's Aquarium Dallas Mining Company, where guests can pan for gemstones and fossils. Inside, you'll discover animals and environments never before seen at our aquarium. We now care for over 15,000 fish, doubling the number of species under our watch.

Be sure not to miss our new exhibits, including the Doctor Fish, where small Red Garra fish provide a unique manicure by nibbling on the skin cells on your hands. You can also admire the beauty of Mahi-mahi fish, known for their stunning coloring and ray fins in Stingray Bay. Explore the world of Weedy Sea Dragons, often referred to as Seahorses with flair, found exclusively in the waters of Southern Australia.

To add to the fun, we have created a virtual ocean habitat where kids can color and name their own fish, watch it come to life, and release it into the environment. Local artists have also beautifully depicted sea life through colorful murals throughout the aquarium. Don't forget to stop by our Archer Fish exhibit, where you can feed them by holding food over their habitat, and be prepared to get wet from their water streams! Marvel at the Swell Sharks, which glow green in the dark due to their natural bioluminescence.

And meet the Bonnethead Sharks, resembling small Hammerhead sharks, found in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. With 55 exhibits ranging from 20 to 58,000 gallons and 256 different species to learn about, the Children's Aquarium Dallas is the perfect place to explore the wonders of the underwater world.
