The Children’s Collective, Inc. is a nonprofit human services organization established in 1972 to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families in South Los Angeles. Its vision is for every child and family in the community to reach their potential, regardless of income. The organization brings child care, education, and family resources together through comprehensive services designed to support children’s development and strengthen families.

Its child development programs serve children from birth through preschool, with developmentally appropriate learning that promotes school readiness, self-esteem, health, and family engagement. The organization also provides healthy meals and snacks to children in its infant, toddler, and preschool programs, serving more than 225,000 breakfasts, lunches, and snacks annually. Community services include Black Infant Health, CalFresh Healthy Living, and a FamilySource Center. These programs offer support in areas such as health education, family well-being, student achievement, and financial wellness. Through its programs and family support services, The Children’s Collective works with parents, schools, and communities to help children thrive.
