Children's Day School

Children’s Day School is a licensed early childhood education provider serving families in Riverside and Glenville, Connecticut, since the 1970s. With two neighborhood campuses, the school offers a warm, home-like setting where children can learn, play, and feel part of a close-knit community. Experienced, credentialed educators use a curriculum-guided, play-based approach to encourage curiosity, confidence, and development.

Programs support children from infancy through preschool. Infant care emphasizes bonding, sensory exploration, and secure routines; toddler learning encourages language, motor skills, and early friendships; and preschool builds early literacy, creativity, and social-emotional skills. Families can choose flexible enrollment options, including two, three, or five days per week, subject to availability. Activities include creative play, art, and music enrichment.

The school also uses the Procare app to share photos, daily updates, and messages with families, and staff can help eligible families understand tuition assistance options. Children’s Day School welcomes enrollment inquiries, campus visits, and career interest from prospective educators.
