Chiliblueten

Chiliblüten is a food and lifestyle blog by Lisa Kaufmann, a Karlsruhe-based author who has eaten lactose-free for more than 16 years. The blog focuses on recipes that are always lactose-free and often baked, with some vegan and dairy-free options for people managing lactose intolerance. Its recipe collection spans bread, cookies and confectionery, breakfast, cakes, muffins and cupcakes, desserts, lunches, salads, snacks, pizza and other savoury dishes, as well as drinks.

Examples include banana chocolate muffins, blueberry liqueur, limoncello, iced espresso and cloud eggs. Alongside recipes, Chiliblüten shares food-related posts such as café recommendations in Karlsruhe, occasional travel writing, and practical ideas for sustainable living, including reusable DIY cleansing pads made from old towels and jeans. The site also features personal updates, guest contributions and a gallery of recipes Lisa has recreated.

Readers can browse by category and follow the blog through Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or email. Chiliblüten offers inspiration for home cooks seeking approachable lactose-free baking and cooking, with additional content on cafés, travel and everyday creativity
