The Dutch China Knowledge Network (CKN) connects China experts and shares knowledge within the government of the Netherlands and beyond. Its work helps audiences understand China’s influence and its implications for policy, business, technology and international relations. CKN publishes research reports, two-pagers and external publications on topics including trade and globalisation, critical raw materials, digital technologies, geopolitical resilience and China’s presence in different regions.

The network also organises events, seminars and knowledge sessions, with recordings available for people who cannot attend. Its programme features research presentations, expert discussions and interviews with specialists from universities, think tanks and other institutions. CKN provides a newsletter with updates on new research, upcoming events and invitations to knowledge sessions and report presentations.

Through its publications and events, the network offers analysis and perspectives for policymakers, researchers, businesses and others interested in China. CKN also works with 11 affiliated institutions and shares information through its website and LinkedIn, while serving as a platform for dialogue and the exchange of expertise
