The Academy of Chinese Swordsmanship is an online school dedicated to reviving Chinese sword arts as practical martial disciplines. Led by Scott M. Rodell, whose experience spans more than 30 years, the Academy combines classical systems and historical study with cutting practice, drills, and controlled sparring. Its structured study paths guide students from foundational skills toward advanced application, making training accessible to beginners as well as experienced practitioners and teachers.

Courses focus on jian (straight sword), dao (saber), and miaodao, with programs including the Jianfa Study Path, Saber and Longsword Study Path, Beginners Jianfa Blueprint, and individual courses in forms and weapons such as taiji spear and dadao. Members receive on-demand lessons, progress roadmaps, live webinars, and, in selected programs, coach feedback on their practice.
