Chippa United F.C., known as the Chilli Boys, is a South African football club established in January 2010. Based in East London in the Eastern Cape, the club plays its home matches at Buffalo City Stadium. Its home colours are white and blue stripes, while its listed away colours are navy blue, red and white. The club grew from Mbekweni Cosmos F.C., acquired by Siviwe “Chippa” Mpengesi, and has a focus on developing young footballers. Its youth pathway includes feeder team Peace Makers F.C. and Under-17 and Under-19 teams, with plans described for an academy at Philippi Stadium. The club also aims to provide opportunities for young people from disadvantaged communities.
The Chippa United Fansite is a place for supporters and members to connect, share stories and photos, and join fan meetups on matchdays and other occasions. It directs fans to the club’s official website and social media accounts.
