Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale is a renowned brand with a rich legacy dating back to 1939. It all started with Late Shri. Bhaskar Ganesh Chitale, who established a small milk distribution business in Bhilawadi, Sangli district, marking the beginning of India's first entrepreneurial dairy revolution.

His sons, Bhausaheb, Rajabhau, Nanasaheb, and Kakasaheb Chitale, continued the family's entrepreneurial spirit and joined the business. In the 1950s, Raghunath Chitale, affectionately known as Bhausaheb, established Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale. With the support of his brother Rajabhau, they took the brand to greater heights.

Meanwhile, Nanasaheb and Kakasaheb managed the dairy business in Bhilawadi, while Bhausaheb and Rajabhau spearheaded the retailing network in Pune. Over the years, the brand expanded its confectionery wing, offering a wide range of sweets and snacks. The third generation family members introduced modern and innovative ideas to keep the Chitale brand ahead of the competition.

Today, the company is led by the young scions of the Chitale family, Kedar, Indraneel, Nikhil, Atul, Rohan, and Pushkar Chitale, who are guided by the experience and wisdom of the family veterans.
