CHJRL

Central Highlands Junior Rugby League (CHJRL) coordinates and supports junior rugby league across the Central Highlands and Central West region of Queensland. Working with affiliated clubs, players, coaches, volunteers and families, the organisation helps deliver inclusive, well-managed competitions focused on participation, development and enjoyment of the game.

CHJRL manages season structures, fixtures, competition draws, ladders, calendars and game-day information for junior age groups. Its website helps families and participants find clubs, follow upcoming events and access the latest league news. The league also provides club administration resources, operational guidance, forms and compliance information, including consent-to-play, participation and dispensation documents.

Player and community development are central to its work. CHJRL supports pathways through Junior Rugby League, Girls Rugby League and the RISE program, while promoting player wellbeing, safety, respect and fair play. It works with clubs and governing bodies to support consistent standards and development for players, coaches and officials. Based in Emerald, Queensland, CHJRL provides regional governance, coordination and practical support to strengthen the game and create positive experiences for its community.
