Chon the Celebrant

Chondelle, known as Chon the Celebrant, is an authorised marriage celebrant serving couples in Townsville. She works with couples to create personal wedding ceremonies that reflect their style, values and meaningful traditions. Friendly, supportive and calm, Chondelle helps couples feel confident and at ease as they plan and experience their ceremony. Her background as a qualified early childhood teacher and her work supporting other professionals inform her people-focused approach, alongside the experience and care she brings as a mother and grandmother.

Chondelle offers guidance through each stage of the marriage ceremony process. Couples can begin with a phone call or email and arrange a meet-and-greet to discuss their plans and learn about legal requirements. She assists with signing the Notice of Intent to Marry, developing a written ceremony, and completing the necessary paperwork at a follow-up meeting or rehearsal. On the wedding day, she arrives an hour early to help ensure everything is ready. Her services also include ceremonies for vow renewals and recommitments.
