VITO, Inc. is a Virginia-licensed provider of person-centered supports for individuals with developmental disabilities in the Hampton Roads area. Celebrating 20 years of service, the organization helps people pursue greater independence and meaningful lives in the homes and communities they choose. VITO plans supports in collaboration with each individual and their chosen team, which may include family, friends, and a support coordinator or case manager. Plans reflect the person’s interests, preferences, and needs, keeping the individual at the center of decisions.

Qualified Direct Support Professionals provide one-to-one assistance in clients’ homes, at VITO’s group day support center, and in the community. Services include In-Home Support and Group Day Support, with activities guided by each person’s plan. Support schedules are based on individual needs; in-home services are available seven days a week. VITO also offers employment information and developmental disability resources through its website. The organization works with individuals and families to identify compatible staff and support personal growth, daily skills, confidence, and community participation.
