About Chouquette Bicyclette
Chouquette & Bicyclette is a neighborhood café and bicycle workshop in south Nantes, France, opened in September 2023. Bringing together food, community and cycling, it offers a welcoming, family-friendly space with a terrace and a children’s corner. The café serves non-alcoholic drinks and homemade pastries, while lunchtime service features a single vegetarian dish. The business highlights organic and locally sourced products, and its relaxed setting suits everything from a coffee break or family visit to lunch with colleagues.
On the cycling side, the workshop repairs all types of bicycles and sells accessories, spare parts and second-hand bikes. Customers can also join participatory workshops to learn how to maintain and repair their own bikes, with guidance tailored to their cycling needs. Chouquette & Bicyclette hosts events and offers space for private gatherings, combining practical services with a lively neighborhood atmosphere. Located at 138 route de Vertou, the café is open Tuesday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
