X Layer is an innovative Ethereum layer 2 (L2) network, developed by OKX and Polygon, leveraging Polygon's CDK technology. Designed for seamless integration with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), X Layer empowers developers to deploy existing Ethereum applications and create new projects at significantly reduced costs compared to operating directly on Ethereum. Users of X Layer benefit from access to decentralized applications (dapps) with notably lower gas fees and improved transaction speeds.

The platform employs a state-of-the-art zkEVM validium architecture, enhancing security through zero-knowledge proofs while offering greater scalability than traditional ZK rollups. This enables X Layer to provide lower fees and higher throughput for users. The native currency for transaction fees on X Layer is the OKB token, ensuring a smooth transactional experience. Getting started is simple, just fund your Web3 wallet or bridge your assets. For additional support, the X Layer team is available via their Discord group, ready to assist users navigating their blockchain journey.
