CHOV KONÍ TASOV

Chov koní Tasov is a Czech equestrian association founded in 2006 to support leisure activities for children and adults, with a focus on riding, sport, education, and nature conservation. Based at the Tasov Stud Farm, the association offers horse-riding lessons for children aged 10 and older and adults, and prepares students for the Czech riding licence examinations, covering both practical and theoretical knowledge. Its riding club also takes part in show-jumping competitions, primarily riding horses from the stud farm.

School horses used for lessons are mostly Furioso and Moravian Warmblood horses bred at Tasov. Alongside its equestrian activities, the association organizes educational and recreational events for children and families, participates in breeding events open to the public, and supports people with physical or intellectual disabilities. It is involved in the Jistota Foundation’s “A Matter of the Heart” program, which supports services and projects for people with disabilities or who are socially excluded.

Seasonal work also includes caring for local wildlife and maintaining facilities and paths
