The Christian Bassmen is a vibrant, non-denominational organization founded in 1982, dedicated to fostering a community of Christian men who share a passion for bass fishing. With a committed membership of 20 to 30 active anglers, the club organizes an engaging Tournament Trail featuring twelve tournaments throughout the year, held on the second Saturday of each month. Monthly meetings take place every Thursday night before the tournaments at Cathouse Marine in Millbrook, Alabama, which graciously hosts the gatherings.
The Christian Bassmen strive to honor their faith and the love of God in all their activities, reflecting their motto, "Follow Me… and I will make you fishers of men." The organization warmly welcomes guests and visitors, providing an opportunity to participate in meetings and tournaments to experience its camaraderie firsthand. For those interested in joining or seeking more information, the club encourages outreach via email or attending a meeting, ensuring that new members feel at home in this spirited community.
