The Christian Berst Art Brut Gallery is internationally recognized as a leading player in its field. With nearly 20 years of activity, the gallery has organized nearly 100 exhibitions, each accompanied by a bilingual publication. The growing interest in art brut is evident in the fact that over the past three years, more than fifty artists from the gallery have entered the collections of prestigious institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Additionally, since 2020, the gallery has loaned around 700 artworks to some of the world's most prominent museum institutions, including the Fondation Prada, The Barbican Center, Museo Reina Sofía, and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, among others. The gallery has also been actively participating in major international art fairs, further cementing its role as an influential presence in the art world. With a recent expansion, the gallery has opened a second space, The Bridge, where invited curators express their unique perspectives on the fruitful dialogue between art brut and other art categories.

This gallery has indeed made significant contributions to the theory surrounding art brut, as evident in the documentary "La Folie Art Brut," co-produced by the Centre Pompidou and Arte in 2023.
