Sozialbetriebe Christuszentrum is an independent nonprofit association in Zurich, founded by Pastor Ernst Sieber, that has supported people with disabilities for more than 50 years. The organization provides professional assistance to people with psychological, physical and cognitive disabilities, helping them build stability, develop their abilities and take part in community life. Its approach is person-centred, with tailored opportunities designed to foster belonging, dignity and meaningful participation.
Its services include fully supported, supported and collective housing, as well as ambulatory residential guidance. Work and training options range from supported long-term and integration jobs to accompanied initial vocational training and day programmes. Participants can take part in activities through TS Aktiv, Werkraum and the creative studio.
The organization also serves external customers through practical services and products, including housekeeping, catering, gardening, office support, garment processing and general services. Around 90 people work in supported positions. Donations help sustain its work, while customer orders contribute to employment integration. Christuszentrum welcomes people seeking support regardless of religion, background or gender.
