Christy Hayes Fine Art

Christy Hayes Fine Art is the art practice and teaching business of Christy Hayes, a professional artist and instructor based in Marietta, Georgia. Her work has appeared in juried shows, a magazine, and five galleries across the Southeast. Alongside developing her own art, Hayes helps adults build their skills and confidence through painting instruction offered at three locations in the Acworth, Kennesaw, and Marietta area.

Classes include weekly acrylic painting for beginners through advanced students, as well as weekend alcohol ink workshops. Instruction covers practical artistic foundations, from understanding art supplies and choosing a strong composition to getting proportions right, matching values, adding contrast, and mixing colors thoughtfully. Students can learn to paint from photographs or from live subjects while developing the ability to see like an artist.

Hayes’s teaching is grounded in her goal of continuing to grow as an artist and supporting others in doing the same. Her website also features available and sold original works, portfolio selections, current exhibitions, and glimpses of life at her studio.
