Chromehead's

Chromeheads is an online community for people who own or are interested in BMW’s R1200C cruiser family, including the R1200C, R1200CL, and Montauk. Its discussion forum brings together riders to exchange practical knowledge, share experiences, and connect with fellow motorcyclists. Members can find technical guidance covering maintenance, troubleshooting, engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, accessories, and more.

Dedicated sections offer product reviews and recommendations for riding gear, luggage, communications equipment, GPS devices, seats, windscreens, and other motorcycle parts. The site also supports new-owner introductions and questions from prospective buyers, along with broader discussions about BMW cruisers and motorcycling. Riders can share road trips, find regional forums and rally information, browse photo galleries, and use the marketplace to list items for sale or search for wanted parts.

Additional resources include frequently asked questions, a VIN registry for the R1200C, CL, and Montauk, and technical archives. Chromeheads is a specialist forum and information resource, rather than a motorcycle manufacturer or retail brand, built around the interests and needs of the BMW cruiser community
