Chrysalis House is a Maryland recovery organization dedicated to helping women overcome substance use and mental health challenges and build healthier futures for themselves and their families. A distinctive feature of its residential program is that women can bring their children, helping remove a common barrier to treatment. Women aged 18 and older may be eligible whether they have children, are pregnant, or do not have children; Healthy Start serves pregnant women and mothers with a child under three.

The organization offers several levels of care, including residential treatment, community-based housing, intensive outpatient services, and outpatient programs. Individualized plans draw on trauma-informed care, evidence-based therapies, integrated mental health support, and a person-centered approach, with an emphasis on long-term recovery. Chrysalis House also provides supportive housing for mothers and children participating in intensive outpatient treatment.

Therapeutic and family-centered offerings include exercise, yoga, sound bath therapy, gardening, auricular acupuncture, child care, and culinary services.
