Established in 2016, the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS) is a research center that generates scholarship and engages in policy and practice on conflict mediation, humanitarian action, and post-conflict recovery in the Arab world and beyond. It works on producing research, inform policy, and convene multi-track dialogue for peacemaking. The center is affiliated with the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. •Vision To be a leading research center that provides high quality research and analysis, convenes multi-stakeholder dialogue, and generates positive social impact in societies affected by conflict and crisis. •Mission To produce world-class research, support evidence-based policy and practice, and facilitate multi-track dialogue. CHS is committed to bridging theory and practice in conflict and humanitarian studies through engagement with a wide range of actors at the local, national, regional, and global levels.
