The Consortium for History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, located in the birthplace of American science, Philadelphia, is dedicated to promoting both scholarly and public understanding of the impact of science, technology, and medicine on our lives. Established in 2006, the consortium comprises twelve educational and cultural institutions, supported by grants from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the National Science Foundation.
