Welcome to Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton, IL. Our mission is to invite everyone into a transforming relationship with Jesus and his Church. At Church of the Resurrection, we prioritize our core values, which we refer to as the 5 S's.

These values are based on the description of the early church in Acts 2. Firstly, we are fully scriptural, meaning that we receive the Old and New Testaments as God's living and active word. We make the teachings of the Scriptures accessible to all and emphasize their authority in shaping our beliefs and behavior.

Secondly, we are fully sacramental. Through Baptism, Holy Communion, and prayer, we experience the living presence of our Lord in the Church. Thirdly, we are full of the Spirit.

We serve under the authority of the Holy Spirit, manifesting the living kingdom of God and living a supernatural life. We are also a community that embraces sacrifice. We encourage a sacrificial life through fasting, service, generosity, forgiveness, and following Jesus, even when it comes at a cost.

Lastly, we are focused on the salvation of others. We proclaim the Good News of salvation and actively seek to draw new believers to Jesus and the life of the Church. Join us at Church of the Resurrection as we strive to live out these values and grow together in our faith
