Chushin

Chushin Aikido Dojo is a Danish aikido training community based in Glumsø and a member of Traditional Aikido Europe, a network of aikido clubs across Europe. The dojo practices the aikido of founder Morihei Ueshiba as taught by Saito Sensei, with training centered on understanding the principles behind the techniques. Its main offering is four-hour themed seminars, which give participants time to explore topics such as grounding, balance, focus, presence, flow, and the relationship between uke and nage.

The dojo also hosts special keiko sessions, seminars with visiting instructors, and seasonal intensive events, including spring and winter intensives and a summer camp. Members can access the dojo’s training activities through a monthly membership, while individual seminar attendance is also available. Its instructors bring experience from aikido training and seminars in Denmark, Japan, and internationally, and participate in events led by Lewis Bernaldo de Quiros. Chushin welcomes people interested in focused, principle-based aikido practice and provides event information and registration through its website.
