Chytrá recyklace is an educational and practical information platform focused on responsible recycling of electrical waste and used batteries in the Czech Republic. It helps households understand what counts as electrical waste, why it should be separated, and how to dispose of it correctly. The site explains that retired appliances can contain valuable materials, including gold, silver, copper, platinum and cobalt, which can be recovered instead of wasted or sent to landfill.

The platform covers a wide range of items, from refrigerators, air conditioners and household appliances to mobile phones, computers, televisions, lighting products, batteries and accumulators. It guides users to free collection options, including take-back when buying a replacement appliance, collection points, municipal recycling centres, designated containers, home collection and the Rebalík postal service.

Chytrá recyklace also offers educational resources for children and schools, including online activities, videos, games and the RecykloMise competition. News, downloadable materials and a free advice line provide further support. The site is associated with REMA Systém and REMA Battery.
