Cochin International Airport is operated by Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) and is located 28 kilometres northeast of downtown Kochi, Kerala. Built through a public-private partnership, it was the first airport in India developed under this model and is described as the world’s first fully solar-powered airport. The airport serves domestic and international travellers and handles a substantial share of Kerala’s passenger traffic.

CIAL provides flight information and a range of passenger services, including airport lounges, self-service baggage drop, baggage wrapping, meet-and-greet assistance, parking, lost-and-found support, cloakrooms, medical rooms, a vaccination helpdesk, buggy service and DigiYatra facilities. Travellers can access transport information, including prepaid taxis, as well as details about terminals, operating airlines, airport charges and security.

Beyond passenger operations, CIAL offers cargo services and commercial facilities, including duty-free shopping, dining, a golf facility and a convention centre. Its website also provides information on airport infrastructure, technical operations, connectivity, careers, tenders, events and corporate services.
