La CICA-RE, Compagnie Commune de Réassurance des Etats Membres de la Conférence Interafricaine des Marchés d’Assurances, est une Institution Internationale de Réassurance, en activité depuis le 1er Janvier 1984, dont les différents Bureaux Régionaux permettent de couvrir les douze Etats Membres (Zone CIMA), le reste de l'Afrique et en dehors, notamment l'Asie, le Moyen orient, l'Amérique latine. Les missions à elle assignées sont contenues dans l’Accord portant sa création. Aux côtés des douze (12) Etats fondateurs, figurent désormais dans l’actionnariat de la compagnie, soixante-quatre (64) Compagnies d’Assurances et de Réassurance, ainsi que quatre (04) Institutions Financières (Banque Africaine de Développement - BAD, Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement - BOAD, Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale - CNPS de Côte d'Ivoire et Fonds de Solidarité Africain - FSA).

About CICA-RE
CICA-RE, which stands for Compagnie Commune de Réassurance des Etats Membres de la Conférence Interafricaine des Marchés d’Assurances, is an International Reinsurance Institution established on January 1st, 1984. It operates across the twelve Member States (CIMA Zone), as well as other regions including Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. In addition to the twelve founding states, CICA-RE is now co-owned by sixty-four Insurance and Reinsurance Companies and four Financial Institutions, namely the African Development Bank (BAD), the West African Development Bank (BOAD), the National Social Insurance Fund of Côte d'Ivoire (CNPS), and the African Solidarity Fund (FSA).
