Ciencia Sativa is a nonprofit civil association based in San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina. Active since 2018, it works to advance research, education, and community support related to medicinal and therapeutic cannabis and other therapeutic plants. Its approach brings together scientific knowledge, health, and local experience, promoting informed access and responsible practices within Argentina’s current regulatory framework.

The association offers professional guidance through Consultorio Sativa, support for REPROCANN registration and regulated medicinal cannabis self-cultivation, and cultivation and supply services. It also runs workshops on medicinal cannabis, cultivation, and applicable regulations. Its research and technical work includes collaboration with INTA Patagonia Norte on agronomic study and production, development of the Trazacann traceability system, and participation in the evaluation and registration of locally adapted cannabis varieties, including Cannawine INTA-ACCS.

Ciencia Sativa also contributes to public and regulatory discussions and connects with research, health, and government institutions. Through its services, projects, training, and community membership, it supports greater knowledge and responsible development of medicinal cannabis in Argentina.
