The Research and Studies Centre for Dispute Resolution (CIERC) at Monteavila University is a renowned institute for legal research, focusing on arbitration, negotiation, mediation, and other methods of dispute resolution in Venezuela. Founded by esteemed professors and experts from Monteávila University, Andrés Bello Catholic University, and the IESA, CIERC aims to promote the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution as a powerful tool for conflict reduction, particularly in our personal and professional relationships. Moreover, the center actively addresses the judicial and institutional crisis in our legal system.
CIERC offers various research tools, academic and professional training, and seeks to develop effective methods of risk and conflict management.
