Ciglia Carrai

Ciglia & Carrai is an artistic foundry established in 1971 in Impruneta, near Florence, Italy. The company works with artists and craftspeople to create sculptures, decorative objects, and monumental works, combining traditional techniques with modern methods. Its services cover the full production process, from enlarging or reducing a model and making silicone moulds to producing wax replicas, casting, welding, hand finishing, and patination.

Bronze casting uses the lost-wax method, with ceramic-shell vacuum casting available for pieces ranging from small objects to large, single-piece works up to 2. 5 metres high. The foundry also works in silver, gold, brass, and aluminium, producing items for classical and contemporary art, funerary and sacred art, and interior design.

Its decorative range includes lighting, bases, wall lights, and other furnishings. In collaboration with engineering specialists, Ciglia & Carrai can provide certified static testing and internal steel supports for bronze sculptures, as well as worldwide transport and installation for monuments and exhibitions.
