About International Committee of the Mediterranean Games
ICMG is the official website of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games. The ICMG's primary role is to promote sports and Olympism, along with the ideals and values they represent in the countries of the Mediterranean Basin. With a focus on peace, friendship, excellence, open-mindedness, and unity, the ICMG strives to strengthen the bond among Mediterranean countries.
This region, known for its rich history and civilizations spanning over 3000 years, holds significant cultural and traditional value. The ICMG aims to preserve and nurture the Mediterranean spirit, marked by human values, philosophy, mathematics, architecture, literature, arts, and sciences, which are widely respected worldwide. The committee consists of 26 National Olympic Committees (NOCs), and its executive bureaus and committees work together to organize Mediterranean Games and Mediterranean Beach Games editions.
