Cimientos is an Argentine civil society organization working to help young people in vulnerable circumstances build a better future through education. Since 1997, it has developed programs that support students to remain in and graduate from secondary school, strengthen education quality, and encourage further study and entry into formal employment. Its work spans secondary education, higher education, and employment, with initiatives including Escuelas que Acompañan, university scholarships, and support for graduates through the Red de Egresados.
Cimientos also connects former participants through its graduate community and shares resources, publications, annual reports, and updates about its work. The organization reports that 83% of the graduates it supports continue studying and/or working, based on its 2024 survey of young people’s first year after school. Cimientos invites individuals and supporters to contribute so more young people can complete secondary school, pursue higher education, and access their first formal jobs.
