About ThemeFusion
Cincinnati Cursillo is a vibrant and spiritually enriching movement that has been nurturing the Catholic faith since its inception. Established in the 1940s in Majorca, Spain, by Eduardo Bonnín Aguiló, Cursillo made its way to the United States in 1957, with its first weekend held in Texas. Cincinnati welcomed this transformative experience in 1962, fostering a community focused on deepening one's relationship with Christ.
The movement emphasizes friendship and spiritual revitalization, encouraging participants to lead a fully Christian life and share Christ's love within their families, workplaces, and communities. The Cursillo Secretariat, composed of dedicated clergy and lay leaders, plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting the movement through its various phases: Pre-Cursillo, Cursillo, and Post-Cursillo (4th Day).
Cincinnati Cursillo not only empowers individuals spiritually but also cultivates leaders committed to spreading positivity and transformational change in their environments, making it a cornerstone of Catholic fellowship in the region.
