Cincinnati Cyclones Special Hockey (CCSH) is a pioneering program established in 2018, dedicated to providing individuals with developmental disabilities the chance to participate in ice hockey. Located in the Greater Cincinnati Area, CCSH offers an inclusive, adapted environment where hockey is accessible to all skill levels. Athletes aged 6 and older, regardless of gender or ability, are welcomed to join without prior skating experience, fostering a supportive community driven by teamwork and personal growth.
The program emphasizes the development of crucial life skills such as dependability, self-reliance, and accountability through the sport of hockey. Weekly practices held at Northland Ice Center culminate in competitive games against teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets Special Hockey Team. CCSH invites community involvement through volunteering, donations, and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring resources are available for athletes to excel in their hockey journey. Committed to the belief that "hockey is for everyone," the Cincinnati Cyclones Special Hockey program is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of its players.
