About Cindy Rasicot
Cindy Rasicot is an American author and retired psychotherapist whose profound spiritual journey has been deeply influenced by her relationship with Bhikkhuni Dhammananda, the first woman fully ordained in the Thai Theravada tradition. Since becoming Dhammananda's disciple in 2005, Cindy has beautifully documented their bond and the teachings of her mentor, focusing on living a powerful, compassionate life. Her notable works include "This Fresh Existence: Heart Teachings from Bhikkhuni Dhammananda" and the award-winning memoir "Finding Venerable Mother: A Daughter’s Spiritual Quest to Thailand," a finalist for multiple prestigious book awards and a #1 bestseller in Spirituality on Amazon.
