About CineGlobe
CineGlobe is an international festival of films inspired by science. The 12th edition of the festival will be taking place at the CERN Science Gateway, with a series of events titled "Orbit" happening in different locations.
Orbit.1 will be held on August 26th in Grand-Saconnex, followed by Orbit.2 on September 16th in Versoix, and Orbit.3 on October 15th in Saint-Genis-Pouilly. The closing event will be the arrival at the CERN Science Gateway on November 9th.
One of the highlights of the festival is the experimental theatre performance called "Mauvais Je(ux)" created by the collective Laokoon in collaboration with GIFF. This theatrical evening delves into the influence of technology on society, exploring the world of Big Data, artificial intelligence, and algorithms.
CineGlobe also offers free online content through their partnership with Shift72, allowing audiences to access short films, masterclasses, and debate sessions from past editions. Stay updated on new releases by signing up on their website.
