Cinquant

De Cinquant is a care farm built around caring for people and animals through shared work in nature. Its family-oriented setting brings together participants, referred to as “hulpboeren,” who take part in everyday farm activities and develop their abilities through meaningful responsibilities. The farm offers day activities for people with varied backgrounds and support needs, adapting tasks to individual strengths and encouraging confidence, social skills, cooperation, and responsibility.

Work takes place in the garden, greenhouse, animal areas, and shop. Participants help care for animals, grow and harvest produce, and make foods such as jams, fruit purées, cookies, and cakes using ingredients from the land. De Cinquant also runs an organic shop and a campsite. Its approach emphasizes organic and biodynamic working methods, the rhythm of the seasons, and learning by doing. Through contact with people, animals, and the natural environment, the farm aims to support participants’ involvement in work and personal development.
