Cinque Ports Sailing is an RYA-affiliated sailing club and training provider serving Dover, Hythe and Ashford in Kent. Through its three training centres at Dover, Martello Lakes and Conningbrook Lakes, the organisation helps people of all experience levels enjoy the water in a safe, supportive environment. Its activities include dinghy sailing, yachting and powerboating, with courses for beginners and more advanced learners. Members can also take part in sailing and racing sessions, after-school and after-work clubs, and activities for schools and groups.
At Dover, training takes place in the harbour and includes powerboat courses, yacht sailing and shore-based learning. Courses in VHF marine radio, first aid and navigation are also available, alongside stand-up paddleboarding tasters planned for 2026. The calmer inland waters at Conningbrook Lakes and Martello Lakes offer welcoming settings to learn or refresh sailing skills. Martello Lakes also hosts regular club sailing, seasonal racing series, Powerboat Level 2 training and safety boat courses.
