About CIOOS Atlantic
The Canadian Integrated Ocean Observing System (CIOOS) is a national platform dedicated to sharing, discovering, and accessing ocean data in Canada. CIOOS Atlantic, one of the three Regional Associations under CIOOS, focuses on integrating oceanographic data from the Atlantic seaboard, spanning from Labrador to the USA. Launched in March 2019, CIOOS Atlantic aims to provide valuable data to a wide range of users, including researchers, government agencies, coastal communities, ocean industries, and more.
Partnering with world-class researchers and centers of expertise in ocean science, CIOOS Atlantic is committed to developing a robust data management and dissemination approach for the region. By supporting Essential Ocean Variables aligned with the Global Ocean Observing System, CIOOS Atlantic contributes to global initiatives and advances our understanding of the ocean and marine issues. Join us in the power of partnerships for the sustainable development of our oceans
