About CIPPIC
The Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) is Canada's pioneering public interest technology law clinic, situated at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. Our dedicated team of legal experts and students collaborates to advocate for the public interest on crucial law and technology matters. Our mandate encompasses three core elements: advocating for the public interest in technology law and policy decisions, offering pro bono legal guidance on technology law issues, and creating public education resources on technology law and policy.
Established in 2003, CIPPIC is supported by Prof. Pam Samuelson and Dr. Robert Glushko and stands as one of five such technology law clinics in North America.
You can assist our public interest mission through tax-deductible donations. Explore opportunities for student involvement, learn about our staff, and discover how funding from generous donors has shaped our impactful work in Canadian and international technology law and policy discussions
