Circle Craft

Circle Craft is a British Columbia artist co-operative that connects independent Canadian makers with the community through high-quality handmade work. Founded in 1974, it has grown into a major Canadian craft organization, supporting more than 140 B.C. artists. Owned and run by its artist members, Circle Craft follows a direct-from-the-artist approach, helping purchases support the makers without middlemen.

The co-operative operates a shop in the Net Loft on Vancouver’s Granville Island, an arts and cultural destination. Its selection spans jewellery, ceramics, woodwork, glass, textiles and body care, with items including rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, mugs, bowls, plates, vases, keychains, puzzles, cups and pens. Circle Craft also features its artists and hosts events, including a Holiday Market. Rooted in B.C., the co-operative showcases work shaped by the province’s landscapes and creative communities. Through its store and artist-led programs, Circle Craft brings Canadian craft to shoppers while providing makers with opportunities to share and market their work.
