Circle of Strength Family is a New Jersey 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding resources, advocacy, education, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. Through community outreach, educational resources, strategic partnerships, and initiatives, the organization works to strengthen support systems, encourage self-sufficiency, and foster more inclusive communities.
Circle of Strength Family collaborates with the separate Circle of Strength direct support service agency. Together, the organizations serve the same communities in complementary ways: Circle of Strength Family focuses on access to resources and broader support systems, while the agency provides individualized, person-centered services for daily life. These direct supports are tailored to each person and aim to promote independence, dignity, growth, and stability.
The nonprofit also connects families and community members with resource partners through events, including its Resource Day and Unity Ball initiatives. Based in Edison, New Jersey, Circle of Strength Family invites individuals and families to learn about its work, support its mission, and get involved in building stronger, more inclusive communities.
