About Trash Panda
Trash Panda is a cleantech startup company called Circula Recoon that is dedicated to helping Filipinos transition to a zero-landfill future and a stable circular economy. They aim to make waste an accessible resource for sustainable production. As a total solid waste management service provider, Trash Panda offers cities the opportunity to recover, track, and earn from their valuable waste while minimizing water, land, and air pollution.
Through the Trash Panda platform, customers can book recoverable waste collection services, track the collector's location and route, and even earn cashback from selling collected items to recycling facilities. Trash Panda is currently available in select areas within Metro Manila and Rizal Province in the Philippines. The company is led by co-founders Marie Sapuay, a consultant for solid waste management with a background in software engineering, and Francis Dimalanta, involved in sustainable urban development and holding a degree in Architecture.
