Circule'R Rochefort

Circule’R is an association that brings together businesses and other professionals in the Rochefort area to advance sustainable development and the circular economy. Working closely with local organisations, it learns about their material flows, projects and needs, then develops practical solutions that consider both environmental impact and economic priorities.

Its services for members include diagnostics, shared waste-collection initiatives, information workshops, support for finding ways to reuse materials, workshops to identify collaboration opportunities, and networking among local stakeholders. Circule’R also operates a materials library and coordinates initiatives such as professional waste sorting training, the Materials Brocante, and collections of reusable supplies. Its activities include a back-to-school supply collection, with items gathered from partner businesses and resold to families at solidarity prices, as well as bicycle-based biowaste collection for local businesses and restaurants.

Circule’R and VED are also launching a collective programme for Charente-Maritime businesses seeking to structure a low-carbon strategy. The association’s territorial industrial ecology work is supported by local and regional partners, including Rochefort Océan, ADEME, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, the Charente-Maritime Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Soltena.
