Este Instituto nace en 1994 gracias a la iniciativa de algunos funcionarios de la Escuela de Informática de la Universidad Nacional quienes preocupados por la brecha que día a día genera la tecnología de la información, deciden compartir su experiencia en el campo de la informática. A partir de ahí nace el proyecto ICAI que durante varios años ha procurado ofrecer cursos de calidad, con un excelente servicio, bajo precio, con el respaldo de la Escuela de Informática y la Universidad Nacional.
