About CISPES solidarity
CISPES, the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador, is a grassroots solidarity organization that has been dedicated to supporting social and economic justice in El Salvador since 1980. They passionately organize strategic campaigns against US government and corporate intervention in El Salvador and work alongside the Salvadoran popular movement to promote participatory democracy and economic justice. Their efforts are coordinated through the CISPES National Office in Washington, DC, and carried out by local CISPES chapters and supporters across the country.
CISPES is committed to dismantling oppression and has a rich history of fighting for the rights of the Salvadoran people.
