The Cité internationale du cinéma d’animation is a cultural destination in Annecy dedicated to the art, history and creativity of animated film. Located at the historic Haras, alongside the Halle du Haras and Villa du Haras, it welcomes visitors in a landscaped park and offers spaces for discovery, learning and relaxation. Its year-round program includes a permanent museum exhibition, major temporary exhibitions and displays in the gallery, celebrating animation as a popular art form.

The Cité’s cinema presents weekly screenings, including previews, classic animated films, special presentations and open-air events. Visitors can also take part in creative workshops at the Grenier à images, with activities designed for different ages, including children from age three. The venue welcomes individuals, families, school groups, associations and businesses, with tailored offers and reduced rates for eligible visitors.
