CITEO PRO is a subsidiary of the CITEO group, focused on helping businesses and other stakeholders manage professional packaging obligations in France. As an approved producer responsibility organization for professional packaging, it supports the extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027, including packaging used in catering and industrial and commercial settings. Its work aims to help improve packaging’s environmental performance through reduction, reuse and recycling.

CITEO PRO serves producers, packaging waste holders, reuse businesses, collection and recycling operators, and local authorities. It helps producers understand and meet regulatory requirements, while offering other stakeholders tailored support to organize collection, track material flows and improve recovery practices. For reuse initiatives, its team provides practical assistance to address economic barriers and identify opportunities.

The organization also offers tools and information to prepare for the new scheme, including an EPR diagnostic, a packaging inventory kit, FAQs, guidance, webinars and small-group online discussions.
